Dance it out


"Nobody puts a BAG in the corner!"

I have not been on a regular workout routine since sometime in April. With travel and goodbyes and guests it has been challenging to find the time and motivation for BAG workouts. I have not been taking care of my BAG self for what feels like a much longer time than 4 weeks. 

This past Friday I had a looooooong day at work. I walked home, feeling cranky again (the fog persists) and in need of a serious reset. I thought about opening up a bottle of wine and bitching/crying about work to Kelly, but instead I laced up my shoes and ran against the wind and fog to the halfway point in GG Park. Then I ran back home (much easier) for a total of a 4 mi BAG run!

While that was good for my body, what came next was exactly what I needed for my heart and spirit --> a night of SHAKING IT at Amnesia! Dan was spinning some amazing 60s soul music and Christine was across from me, breaking it down and keeping me sweating. The next day my neck was sore from the twirling and my voice was hoarse from the laughing :-D 

So, another BAG rule: Dancing completely counts as a mind+body treatment.
