Christine's 1st official BAG siting. So I guess I didn't do a run, but I did do a BAD ASS BIKE RIDE, this weekend. What I thought would be a leisurely bike ride in the East Bay ended up being a 20 mile trek to find some sunshine out of this dreary fog. We eventually found it but not after a 1500ft gradual climb over the Oakland hills.The front end of the ride was rough and tumble cursing session, but as a bad ass girl, I preserved and glided through the back paths of the East Bay.
All I can say is that the uphill battle is worth the sunshine on the other side!
Nice. You inspire me to go further on the quest for sunshine. GO CHRISTINE!
ReplyDeleteI read this yesterday and considered how far I'd have to go to find sunshine. It had been overcast here Monday-Thursday. I was ready to slit my wrists.
ReplyDeleteThis morning it was sunny and bright at 5 a.m. I got up and went for a run and biked to work. I feel a billion times better. Sunshine rocks. It's so important to take advantage of it when it's sunny outide.
